Outdoor Space
The outdoors here are just as inviting as the inside. Spend your afternoons enjoying the private multi-sport court, where you can play basketball, pickleball, volleyball, or badminton. Afterward, step into the wood-fired barrel sauna for some relaxation, or gather around the firepit for s’mores and stargazing. Trails weave through the property leading to the water, offering quiet moments immersed in nature. There is an access point to the water for launching your kayaks or paddle boards.

Within 5–10 minutes:
- Trent-Severn Waterway, Lock 45 (5 minutes)
Watch boats being raised and lowered through the final lock before Georgian Bay. Great place for photos and a picnic. Free to watch, especially interesting on busy summer afternoons.
- Port Severn Park (5 minutes)
Sandy beach, splash pad, playground, boat docks
Excellent for families or an evening swim.
- White’s Falls (about 10 minutes)
Small scenic waterfall. Good for a short stop and photographs. Easy access from the road.
10–20 minutes
- Six Mile Lake Provincial Park - Hiking trails, Canoeing and kayaking, 3 beaches, excellent swimming. Boat rentals available.
- Big Chute Marine Railway (15–20 minutes) - One of the area’s signature attractions. Instead of locks, boats are carried over land on a giant railway. Very unique and fun to watch.
- Honey Harbour - Gateway to the famous 30,000 Islands. Boat tours, kayak rentals, scenic waterfront.
- Oak Bay Golf Club - One of the area’s most scenic golf courses overlooking Georgian Bay.
20–40 minutes
Perfect for a half-day trip:
- Sainte-Marie among the Hurons - Reconstructed 1600s French mission. Excellent history museum.
- Martyrs’ Shrine - Beautiful grounds and historic church.
- Midland waterfront - Walking trails, restaurants, ice cream, marina
